How To Give
Founded in 1990, Pro-Vision believes one of the many problems facing our society today is the perpetual cycle of despair and poverty that exists in lower income neighborhoods and communities. In effort to order to break this pernicious cycle, Pro-Vision joins with community partners and individuals to demonstrate the value of positive relationships and education. Located in the Southeast Houston Sunnyside neighborhood on 21 acres, Pro-Vision has impacted the lives of 3,000 young men in its twenty year history through its four major programs: The Pro-Vision Middle School, the Manhood Development Academy, The Vision Academy High School, and the Job Enterprise Academy. Realizing that there are no silver bullet solutions to the many causes and consequences of poverty, Pro-Vision takes a holistic approach to community building by nurturing social and emotional development along with an individualized and rigorous academic program. This model builds confidence through character and Inspires hope and purpose at every level.
