Welcome to Job Enterprise Academy
The Job Enterprise Academy taps the most abundant asset of the disenfranchised, their labor, and channels it in a direction that will benefit them the most - increased income and self-sufficiency. A variety of revenue-generating enterprises on and off the Pro-Vision campus provide the venue for improving basic literacy, numerical and organizational aptitude, and interpersonal skills, thereby providing the base for increasingly sophisticated vocational training. Unlike the average adolescent who is forced to work a dead end minimum wage job, participants in the Job Enterprise Academy undertake work that helps prepare them for a successful career.

The Job Enterprise Academy has become an instrument for empowerment of the individual as well as those with whom they interact, equipping them to participate with others in order to create a good life for themselves, their family, and their community. The Job Enterprise Academy takes a holistic approach to delivering economic prosperity to it’s participants by not only providing paid employment, but helping participants to develop a "moral compass" that will guide them through the social intricacies of today's complex work environment.
The Job Enterprise Academy ignites the unlimited potential of our youth their communities by moving people from dependency to a self-reliance. This program taps the most prosperous asset of the disenfranchised, their labor, and guides it in a direction that will benefit them the most — increased income and independence.

The Job Enterprise Academy operates a variety of revenue-generating businesses that provide the opportunity for improving basic literacy, numerical and organizational aptitude, and interpersonal skills thereby providing the basis for increasingly more sophisticated vocational or technical training. Unlike most job training programs, the Job Enterprise Academy does not operate under the “sink or swim” principle. Instead, participants are guided through every aspect of becoming a responsible worker and valued member of the community. Throughout the year, participants receive continuous feedback from mentors who assess individual progress weekly. As a result, set-backs become productive lessons rather than a path to failure that becomes familiar with repetition.
