Pro-Vision Academy is proud to be an All-American Houston charter school that celebrates the many freedoms we have as U.S. citizens. All day long this 4th of July families can enjoy patriotic activities throughout the city and end the night with an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
Freedom Over Texas Annual Fourth of July Celebration
The Freedom Over Texas Fourth of July Celebration is the premier holiday event in Houston. It’s the mayor’s official Fourth of July party and offers one of the most impressive firework shows in the city. There will be two stages for national, regional and local musical acts as well as a special stage in the Kids Zone. In true 4th of July fashion there will also be vintage aircrafts, military tanks and helicopters. This year adults can enjoy a beer garden at the Bud Light Lime-A-Rita Beach Bash.
The 6-hour event will take place at Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou. General admission tickets can be bought in advance for just $8 a ticket and kids under 5 years old are free.
CARE July 4th Festival
Enjoy great food, listen to musical performances and support local organizations that help ensure area students have the supplies they need for the start of the school year at the CARE July 4th Festival. For more than 20 years the OCA – Greater Houston has organized the event that brings together dozens of groups and raises proceeds that are used to purchase backpacks full of school supplies for Houston elementary students.Watch Full Movie Online Streaming Online and Download
Star Spangled Salute
Locals can enjoy the Houston Symphony for free during the Star Spangled Salute celebration. The Miller Outdoor Theater will set the stage for patriotic performances that will inspire all the Pro-Vision students that plan to participate in the after school music program this coming school year.
Contact the Miller Outdoor Theater to secure up to four free tickets to the event or to purchase covered seating.
Kidpendence Day Children’s Museum of Houston
The Children’s Museum of Houston will be hosting a few different kid-friendly July 4th events just like last year. Their week long Star Spangled Superheroes series continues on the 4th of July with activities that teach kids what it takes to be a real American hero.
There will also be the Kidpendence Day Elephant Toothpaste Patriotic Burst. Museum visitors can join the High Brass Band in celebrating all the people that helped to make America the home of the free and land of the brave.
July 4 Weekend Celebration at CITYCENTRE
For four fun-filled nights CITYCENTRE will set the stage for free concerts to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. The concerts will run from 7-10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with a spectacular fireworks display ending the night on Friday. Sunday concert-goers can enjoy free entertainment from 5-8 p.m.
There are also parades, firework shows and more happening all around Houston from the Woodlands to Galveston Bay. Happy Birthday America! Pro-Vision wishes everyone a Happy Fourth of July!
