Roynell Young, Recognized as one of the 2014 HCC Black History Committee’s Leadership Gallery Unstoppable Leaders.

Roynell Young, Pro-Vision’s Executive Director and CEO was recognized as one of the 2014 HCC Black History Committee’s Leadership Gallery Unstoppable Leaders.

The recognition event was held on February 21, 2014 at 6:00 PM at the Hilton Americas.  The keynote speaker for the gala was Rev. Dr. Al Sharpton, and their theme was “A Tapestry of Triumphs: Our Call for Civil Rights Continues.”  Funds raised from the gala provided scholarships for outstanding students attending Houston Community College.

Past recipients have been Wells Fargo’s Cary Yates and Texas Children’s Hospital fundraisers Judge Clarease Yates, Pastors Mia and Remus Wright of The Fountain of Praise, C-STEM Teacher and Student Support Services founder Dr. Reagan Flowers and Career & Recovery Resources CEO Dr. Vernus Swisher.

As a member of the “Unstoppable Leaders” Class of 2014, Mr.  Young exemplified the best in his field and profession, a true “Unstoppable Leader” who overcomes obstacles and succeeds in spite of challenges.
