Our Concept
Urban Farm Community Outreach is designed to welcome fresh vegetables into the home kitchen. Soon, this program will include an outdoor kitchen fully equipped for demonstrations and food preparation. Pro-Vision/McNair Urban Farm will also host monthly cooking classes by Houston-area chefs to share their prep and cooking methodology.
Our community garden will have many benefits! It increases access to fresh, healthy food, help reduce a gardener's grocery bills, and improve food security in communities that need it the most.
Our mission is to promote the cultivation of gardens, and soon livestock as vehicles for education, building community, feeding the hungry, and promoting entrepreneurship.
